MXroute's published lineup in July 2026: Small at $59/yr (10 GB), Medium at $69/yr (25 GB), and Large at $79/yr (50 GB) — every plan with unlimited domains and unlimited mailboxes, which is the structural trick: you're buying storage, not seats. Larger storage tiers scale to 1 TB ($550/yr), and white-label reseller plans exist from $30/quarter. Sending is rate-limited at 400 emails/hour per account, per the published specs.
The renewal math
Flat pricing, same at renewal — 1× in our tracker. The comparison that matters is per-seat math: Google Workspace at $7/user/mo runs $840/yr for ten people; MXroute's $59/yr Small plan covers those ten mailboxes (and unlimited more) if 10 GB of shared storage fits their usage. For domain portfolios and small teams with modest mail volume, the delta is enormous. The renewal-price question that plagues web hosting simply doesn't exist here.

Choose MXroute if

Migration notes
Inbound: standard IMAP migration (imapsync-style tooling or your client's copy) — set up DNS (MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC) per their documentation and cut over with a low TTL. Outbound: IMAP export works the same in reverse; because it's plain email with no proprietary calendar/drive data, MXroute is one of the lowest-lock-in email hosts we cover.
Honest limitations
It's a small independent operation with a famously direct communication style — read their terms on sending behavior before you sign up, because enforcement is real. No suite features will ever appear (that's the point).
