Our take
A Delaware-incorporated host (founded 2018, incorporated 2021) with an unusually wide footprint — VPS and VDS on AMD EPYC with DDR5 and NVMe in around 25 cities from Seattle to Seoul — at low prices: a 1-core VPS from $4.59/mo on three years or $6.89 monthly, managed and unmanaged at the same price. The problem is the paperwork. Every card says 'Renews at' the 40%-off sale price while the terms say renewal is 'at the then-current, non-promotional rate' and the homepage calls the discount a limited-time flash sale; the refund policy excludes the default two-year term, the dedicated line entirely, and 'plans purchased using a special promotion'; and there is no SLA behind the '99.99% uptime guarantee'. Good hardware, unverifiable promises.

Pros
- VPS from $4.59/mo (3-year) or $6.89 monthly with DDR5, NVMe, DDoS protection and free migration; managed costs no more than unmanaged
- Around 25 monitored locations on five continents, a public status page with per-location history, and Windows, Mac and GPU options
- Free unlimited cPanel migrations on annual-or-longer plans; no setup fees on hosting plans
Cons
- Renewal price is not verifiable: plan cards promise renewal at the sale price, the terms say 'non-promotional rate', the cart shows neither
- Refunds exclude 2- and 3-year terms (the default), all dedicated servers and promotional purchases; no SLA or credits exist despite the uptime guarantee

UltaHost, beyond the scorecard
Plan details as published on ultahost.com, its billing-toggle data, the WHMCS cart at bill.ultahost.com and the UltaHost legal pages, September 28, 2026 — verify with the vendor before you buy. Plan pages default to the 2-year term; all four terms were read from the cart.
Plans, as published
UltaHost's core is virtual servers. Linux VPS in four sizes, with managed and unmanaged at identical prices: Basic $6.89/mo monthly, $6.33 yearly, $5.52 on two years, $4.59 on three (1 core, 1 GB DDR5, 30 GB NVMe, 1 IPv4); Business $12.29 to $8.04 (2 cores, 2 GB, 50 GB, DDoS protection); Professional $19.59 to $13.23 (3 cores, 4 GB); Enterprise $25.89 to $17.24 (4 cores, 6 GB, 100 GB). Free panels are Hestia and CyberPanel; cPanel, Plesk and ispmanager are paid add-ons. Windows VPS with the licence included runs $20.29 to $13.57 (Basic, 2 cores, 2 GB) up to $294.39 to $196.42 (Ultra, 12 cores, 64 GB). VDS on dual EPYC starts at Power Plus $47.29 to $31.63 (4 cores, 8 GB, 250 GB) and reaches $323.29 to $215.63 (24 cores, 64 GB, 1 TB). Mac VPS from $18.98. Locations named on the data-centre page: 31, across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific; the status page monitors 25 of them.
Shared hosting on cPanel and NVMe: Starter $4.39 monthly, $4.03 yearly, $3.44 on two years, $2.88 on three (1 domain, 30 GB, about 10,000 visits a month), Basic $6.39 to $4.37 (4 domains, 60 GB), Business $12.29 to $8.63 (unlimited domains, 80 GB), Pro $16.29 to $10.93 (110 GB). WordPress plans mirror it from $4.29 to $2.88 (Ulta WordPress, 1 site, 1 mailbox) up to VPS WordPress at $31.69 to $25.71. Fully managed dedicated servers from Ulta-X1 at $104.99 monthly or $81.88 on three years (Xeon E3-1265L v3, 16 GB DDR3, 256 GB SSD, 300 Mbit/s) through Ryzen 7000 and EPYC 9004 boxes to a 64-core dual EPYC 9454 with 1 TB of RAM at $1,599.99 on two years; GPU add-ons from $80/mo; free setup. Reseller (cPanel/WHM) Ulta 25 $28.50 to $19.49, up to Ulta 100 $55.25 to $36.89. Email hosting (UltaMail) from a free single mailbox to $6.57/mo. Support is 24/7 by live chat and ticket; no phone number appears on the contact page; unmanaged VPS support is limited to network and console.
The renewal math
Not verified, and the contradiction is unusually direct. Every plan card, on every term, prints the sale price as the renewal price: 'Billed for 24 month term. Renews at $3.44 /mo for 2 years. Cancel anytime.' The terms of service say: 'At the end of the contract term, the contract will automatically renew at the then-current, non-promotional rate for the original contract length indefinitely until canceled.' The homepage banner calls the discount a 'Hosting Flash Sale: Get 40% Off all hosting services for a limited time!' The cart shows one price per billing cycle with no renewal line and no 'first term only' note. The only non-promotional numbers anywhere are the struck-through 'regular' prices on the cards — Shared Starter $6.89, VPS Basic $9.19, Ulta-X1 $116.93 — which are 40 to 67% above the sale price and never appear in the cart.
Our read: the sale prices are real for the first term and the cards' renewal line is a marketing template, not a contractual promise. Plan on the struck-through figure at renewal until UltaHost puts the card wording in its terms. Auto-payment is on by default for card users; the knowledge base explains how to remove the stored payment method to stop it. Services must be cancelled before the renewal date, which takes effect at midnight.

Choose UltaHost if
- Developers who want an inexpensive DDR5/NVMe VPS or VDS close to users in Latin America, the Middle East, Africa or Asia-Pacific, where the big US hosts have no presence
- Windows and Mac VPS buyers who want the licence bundled at a low monthly price
- Anyone who wants managed VPS support without paying a management premium
Look elsewhere if
- Buyers who need a renewal price they can rely on — the cards and the terms say opposite things
- Anyone who may want a refund — 2- and 3-year terms, dedicated servers, VDS over $96.50 and all promotional purchases are excluded, and every plan is sold under a promotion
- Workloads that need an uptime SLA with credits — none is published, and the terms disclaim availability
Migration notes
Inbound: free for all hosting plans, with caps on monthly billing (10 sites on plans under $10/mo, 15 under $20, 20 under $35) and unlimited on annual or longer terms; cPanel-to-cPanel moves include add-on domains, settings and email, non-cPanel moves are best-effort, and site builders (Wix, Squarespace, Weebly, Google Sites) and Windows shared hosting are excluded. VPS, VDS and dedicated pages all list free migration. Outbound is standard cPanel or your own server images. Cancellation and refund requests count only when submitted through the client area; a chargeback costs $50; a 'free' domain cancelled within a year is charged back at $16.99.
Honest limitations
The refund policy (dated May 2025) narrows the '30 Day Money-back Guarantee' badge considerably: shared, WordPress and reseller refunds apply to monthly and annual plans only ('biennial and triennial plans are not eligible', though two years is the default toggle); VPS refunds apply to monthly plans only; VDS gets 7 days and only under $96.50; dedicated servers get nothing because rack installation is free; Mac VPS gets 15 days; and 'plans purchased using a special promotion, promo code, or special discount link, are non-refundable' while the whole site is on a 40%-off promotion. The dedicated and VDS pages still advertise a 30-day guarantee. No inode, CPU, RAM, email-per-hour or backup-retention figures are published for shared plans; 'unlimited bandwidth' is reviewed when usage runs 3 to 5 times the plan average; port 25 is closed by default and opened on annual VPS plans above Basic or after $117 of spend. No SLA page exists (/sla redirects) and the terms say UltaHost has 'no power over the accessibility of this Site or the Service on a constant or continuous premise', against '99.99% Uptime Guarantee' on every product page and '100% Uptime' in the VDS meta description. Data-centre counts are given as 20+, 27+, 30+ and 31 on different pages; the review badges on the homepage disagree with their own alt text; the dedicated-hosting page served Turkish-lira prices to a US visitor (the US page and the cart are in dollars). UltaHost, Inc., Middletown, Delaware, founded by Scriptsun Ltd in 2018 and incorporated in 2021; the terms also name Dubai, Istanbul and UK entities with no addresses given.
Testing status: we haven't load-tested UltaHost ourselves yet. This profile is built from vendor documentation, published plan specs and SLAs, and long-running community reports — and the pricing above is verified on the vendor's site, not copied from marketing.
